Shorepath Therapy

Hello,
Thanks for stopping in.
About Me
Hi, I’m Megan,

I’m a mum, a lover of the outdoors, and a passionate CBT Therapist, deeply committed to supporting people on their mental health journey.

I feel incredibly privileged to do the work I do.

I offer a non-judgemental, safe, and grounding therapeutic space, working at a pace that feels right for you. My work is evidence-based and supports individuals experiencing anxiety (including Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Panic, OCD, Phobia), trauma and PTSD, depression, and self-esteem difficulties.

My journey into becoming a therapist began at a young age, shaped by lived experience within my own family. Initially opting to study Psychology at A Level, I went on to complete a BSc in Psychology at Plymouth University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies (CBT) at Canterbury Christ Church University. I am an accredited and registered member of the BABCP and have undertaken additional training in complex trauma, neurodiversity, and learning difficulties.

I work with clients from all walks of life, drawing on over a decade of experience to provide evidence-based practice that empowers individuals to understand and manage their difficulties.

I understand that taking the first steps towards therapy can feel daunting. I offer a compassionate, curious approach to your wellbeing within a confidential, nurturing space where you can feel heard and supported.

Sessions are delivered online across the UK.

I would be honoured to support you and
look forward to hearing from you soon.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach, and I am an accredited member of the BABCP — the UK’s leading professional body for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies).

BABCP accreditation reflects rigorous initial training and a commitment to ongoing professional development, which is reviewed and demonstrated every 12 months. This ensures that therapists work to high professional and ethical standards.

CBT is an empowering and collaborative therapy that helps you understand the links between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. It is a structured, practical approach that supports you to develop alternative ways of thinking and behaving, helping you move towards meaningful and lasting change.
What to expect
Each session is tailored to you. CBT sessions typically last around 45 minutes, and we will agree together how best to use this time so that each session feels relevant, meaningful, and supportive of your goals.

Sessions take place via a secure online video platform, allowing you to attend from the comfort of your own safe space. We can also use technology to share resources and track your progress throughout therapy.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether my approach feels right for you.
